‘Fiction In A Flash Challenge’ Update. @pursoot #IARTG #WritingCommunity.

Hello, my friends. Please pardon my absence of the past four days. I was rushed back into hospital unexpectedly last week and have returned home just this morning to find your wonderful emails of concern at my absence waiting for me. Thanks so very much for asking after me. How lucky I am to have friends such as yourselves.  I know that most of you are aware that my health isn’t exactly amazing, Says Soooz ( ever the mistress of understatement 🙄)  This health glitch may necessitate surgery later in the year when the doctors think my lungs can cope with general anesthetic. But that’s not about to happen anytime soon.  So I’ll throw myself a little pity party, but on my big-girl pants and just get myself the hell over it. I’m too busy for this sickness crap.

Lol... I live that!!

That being said, The new image prompt for Fiction In A Flash Challenge for Week #20 will go up on THURSDAY October 8th at 7.30 A.M EDT.

In the interim I’ll post any of your entry’s I may have missed from Last week.

Thanks again for your kindness. Please know I will respond to your emails shortly. Hugs from a great distance.

Soooz.

  1. Oh, Soooz. I just knew you were ill again. I could feel it – well that and your noted absence clued me in. I’m glad you are back home. I love your attitude! Sending healing vibes across the oceans!

    1. Healing vibes received and accepted with grateful thanks, my friend. I’m playing a wait and see game at the moment, not much else I can do. I’m planning on keeping as busy as I can so I wont have time to dwell on things I can’t change. ❤

  2. Whew! Thank you for checking in. My worry has been growing day by day. Please ignore my DM on Twitter. I am so glad you are back home, and will be praying whatever this latest hurdle is that you make a full recovery. Big hugs, my friend! ❤

  3. Your warm thoughts and your prayers are so much appreciated, my friend. I’ll wrap those hugs around me as a shield on those days when negative thoughts sneak in uninvited. ❤

  4. So glad to see you back, Soooz. Ignore my message also. I do want to ask for a favor. Would you give my email address (and anyone who would like to do so) to your daughter and keep us informed. Or, what I’ve seen done was to have your daughter post something on your blog to give us the update. ❤

    1. How kind of you, Miriam. Thank you for your concern. I’ll have a chat to my daughter and see which method of contact would be easiest for her. She has such a lot on her plate caring not only for me but my wonderful eight year old grandson who is autistic. I think perhaps posting something on my blog may be the easiest option for her. I’ll let you know. ❤

      1. Yes, I think posting something on the blog is easier. All she has to do is to have your password and know how to create a post. If you’re like me, I don’t log off my WP blog. It’s always there when I turned on the internet. ❤
