BOOK REVIEW “Ghosts of Timeless Cottage” By T.K (Teresa) Geering.

BLURB
Carolina has everything a beautiful young woman could want. A penthouse flat in London overlooking the Thames; Wined and dined in the best restaurants and a peach of a job with a healthy salary in the Houses of Parliament as a PA for the Right Honourable Jonathon Taylor, MP.
In her spare time, her alter ego J D Wells is a successful author selling books by the millions, unbeknown to her charismatic boss.
Her refuge from the misdemeanors of Jonathon Taylor and his mistress is her aunt’s cottage by the sea in Hastings. When her aunt dies unexpectedly she inherits the cottage, a healthy nest egg, and several rather unexpected seafaring ghosts.
Carolina, with persuasion from Cornelius the resident ghost, finds herself compelled to write his biography in which she discovers that they have a past history.
As Carolina delves into the mystery, she begins to wonder just how deep their connection goes…
MY REVIEW 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟A hugely satisfying reading experience.
It has been a while since I read a book by Teresa Geering. She has written other works that I’ve enjoyed immensely and I was delighted to find she had a new release.
I found this Supernatural Romance an intriguing read. Author Teresa Geering has grown as an author since I read her last work. I enjoyed her previous books a great deal, but this one ramps the enjoyment factor up a notch!
Her character development is rich and complex, and immensely satisfying.
Carolina is introduced beautifully as she deals with the frustration of attempting to keep her female-hungry, but very-married boss, The Right Honorable Jonathon Taylor MP from hitting the front pages of the newspapers with his unfaithful and egocentric behavior. He is certain that his looks and position will keep him safe, and relies heavily on Carolina’s marvelous ability to juggle all his demands continuing without interruption.
Life however has a way of creating changes, and Carolina’s much loved aunt passes away suddenly, leaving her beloved niece her beautiful seaside cottage in Hastings.
The pivotal character of Carolina coming to vibrant life on the page. The dialogue is fast-paced and done so well that you can hear her interchanges with each of the characters, most notably the ghostly and gorgeous Cornelius.
The advent of these supernatural beings into her previously well-ordered life have Carolina seeking more information.
As a world-renowned published author, she is excited to begin writing Cornelius’s memoir, and without adding spoilers I can share with you that she discovers much more about her own history than she ever bargained for.
This book is not in any way formulaic, the twists and turns in the well-crafted plot will keep you turning pages from beginning to end.
The author injects a delightful and often sardonic humor into her characterizations, still maintaining the tension throughout.
If like me you enjoy your Romance served with a twist, you will find this book very hard if not impossible to put down.
An altogether hugely satisfying reading experience.
